The Detroit NAACP will honor the Queen of Soul at its annual Fight for Freedom Fund Dinner on May 3, says The Detroit News. Though a keynote speaker for the event hasn't yet been named, past speakers include Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Colin Powell, according to the paper.
