Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have confirmed they welcomed twin sisters Marion and Tabitha on Tuesday morning. The couple’s surrogate mother gave birth to the newborns at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. The couple was present to welcome the tots into the world, making their six year old son James Wilkie a big brother. Parker and Broderick named the twins straight away, choosing Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, according to People.com. A statement from the couple’s rep explains that Elwell and Hodge are both family names on Parker’s side. Little Marion weighed in 5lbs, 11 oz, while Tabitha was just a touch heavier at 6lbs. The statement adds, “The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon.” |
