Teen pop’s prom king and queen Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus are planning to release a bitter-sweet break-up song they recorded after they split. Fans were sent into a flurry at the weekend when a track was leaked online. And now the Jonas Brother has confirmed he and Miley sat down and wrote Before the Storm through teary eyes after their break-up last year — and have since hit the recording studio together to lay down vocals for the tune. He says, “There's two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally. And then I played it for Miley and we realised that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great. So, we did. “She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great.” The pair recently dismissed “silly” rumours of a reconciliation, but now Miley’s back on the market — perhaps a rematch is on the horizon. |
