He did seem moments away from bursting out laughing, though, or flinching from nearly getting hit in the face by the girl’s gyrations (or bazooms), or ripping the randomly placed curtain ties off his shirt…hard to read that expression, but we’re glad he’s feeling better. The “My Name Is Jonas” band — shown at the Blink-182 tour launch in L.A. a couple weeks back — have teamed with the creators of the meme-tastic Snuggie quilt to make  their on version, and frontman Rivers Cuomo insists it’s the real deal: “It’ll say Weezer on it. The people at Snuggie are doing it with us and promoting it with us. It’s a totally legit Snuggie.” Okay, but: why? The family, which includes son James Wilkie, could always move in with Cameron Frye of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; the house in which the character lived, which featured the famous scene of the Ferrari careening into the backyard, is up for sale for a reported $2.3 million. California upholds gay-marriage ban; celebs and supporters seethe, protest May 27, 2009 at 9:06 am Ellen DeGeneres and George  Takei’s 2008 same-sex marriages will remain legal — but no other same-sex marriages will be allowed to go forward in California, thanks to a new ruling that upholds the ban on gay weddings in the state.  Above, model Luke Worrall, his fiancee Kelly Osbourne, and Friend o’ WENN celeb blogger Perez Hilton hit the streets of L.A.  to protest the decision. The California Supreme Court opted Tuesday not to overturn the ban which went into effect late last year, six months after gay marriage was declared legal in a May 2008 decision.  During the period of legal same-sex marriages, prior to Proposition 8, TV host DeGeneres married her girlfriend, Arrested Development’s Portia De Rossi, and Star Trek: TOS actor George Takei also exchanged vows and rings with longtime partner Brad Altman. In court Tuesday, officials declared that those same-sex couples who wed between May and November of last year will still be considered legally married. The people of California voted to overturn a ruling in favor of gay marriage on 4 November of last year; now gay leaders in the state plan to bring the fight to federal  court. DeGeneres, responding to the latest development: “One day, when everyone is treated with full equality, we’ll look back and realize how wrong this was.” Fail, California.  Again. Terrence Howard Engaged May 27, 2009 at 12:15 am Terrence Howard is officially off the market…. The Oscar nominee is settling down with Colombian beauty Zulay Henao (posing above, with her man, at a bash in Washington D.C.). Howard  gave WENN the hot scoop on his big news during a drunken night out in the Czech capital of Prague — where he’s shooting new war movie Red Tails. The well-lubricated star told us “I just got engaged” before stumbling off to celebrate some more with Henao and a group of pals. The couple have been dating for three years, since Howard’s second split from wife numbers one and two Lori McCommas — who he managed to marry once and divorce twice all in the space of two years. The actor’s hush hush romance with the future Mrs Howard is all the more impressive, considering his reputation as one of the most demanding suitors in celeb-land. In fact, if an interview he gave to Elle magazine back in 2007 is to be believed, they’ve yet to consummate their relationship. Howard claimed, “I’m completely chaste through a relationship unless I get married. I don’t believe in premarital sex.” And we haven’t even mentioned his rather odd opinions on feminine hygiene. From the same interview: “Toilet paper — and no baby wipes — in the bathroom. If they’re using dry paper, they aren’t washing all of themselves. It’s just unclean. So if I go in a woman’s house and see the toilet paper there, I’ll explain this. And if she doesn’t make the adjustment to baby wipes, I’ll know she’s not completely clean.” We wish Terrence, and his presumably very clean and pure future wife, our sincerest congratulations. And if it doesn’t work out, Zulay knows what to expect — Howard admitted he stalked McCommas after their first divorce. He even wrote a song about it! Tyson's daughter taken off life support after tragic incident May 27, 2009 at 12:08 am Sad news from Phoenix, from our news desk: Retired boxer Mike Tyson is in mourning after his four-year-old daughter died in hospital on Tuesday following a freak accident with a treadmill cord. Little Exodus was placed on life support in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona after she was found unconscious with her neck choked by the power cable of the gym equipment on Monday. She was pronounced dead the following day.
