Marie Osmond, who is the mother to eight kids, including five adopted children, weighs in on the news that Madonna is in the process of adopting another child from Malawi, the African country her son David is from.

I'm sure everyone has their opinion, but I can see why she'd want to adopt another child -- so that child doesn't feel alone," she tells our Mary Hart. "She has two biological and there's something nice about knowing you're not alone and you're not different and to have that camaraderie."

Marie says that despite the fact that Madonna has received some bad press, she thinks she's doing the right thing. "I think it's a nice thing she's trying to do," she says. "I can see she feels it's a good thing. And you know, having three children is harder than four so I say go for it!"
