R&B singer Chris Brown has been charged with two felony counts in the alleged attack on his girlfriend Rihanna. Brown, 19, is expected to appear in court today to face one count of assault and one of making criminal threats. The criminal complaint states that in last month's alleged incident, Brown "did willfully and unlawfully commit an assault on ROBYN F. by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury." R&B star Rihanna's real name has been reported as Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
The second count states that Brown "did willfully and unlawfully threaten to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to ROBYN F., with the specific intent that the statement be taken as a threat." The complaint alleges that Rihanna "was reasonably in sustained fear of her safety and the safety of her immediate family." |
