Up Close With 'American Idol''s Top 13

ET was on the red carpet to speak with the remaining "American Idol" contestants Thursday night, but in a surprise move this season the judges let an additional contestant through!

Before the show went off the air on Thursday night, "Idol" judge Simon Cowell made a surprise announcement: "We decided recently we're going to make this a Top 13."

"Making the top 13 is incredible," Michael Sarver tells ET. "Number one the top 13, it's history -- it's never been done before. I think the incredible thing about that is the one person who always slips through the cracks didn't slip through tonight."


Fergie's Firsthand Account of 'Magical' Wedding Day

Fergie hits the ET stage with Thea Andrews to talk about her "magical" wedding day with "Las Vegas" actor Josh Duhamel.

"It was our day to ignore everybody and just be in love," the pop star told ET.

Fergie's wedding was not only magical but also musical -- guests included Kid Rock, Slash, will. i.am. and several bands. "It was kind of an evolution of music," Fergie said of the wedding reception.


Fergie Takes Celebrity Lips Test

Fergie is the new Viva Glam girl for cosmetic company M.A.C. and she knows lips -- to put her to the test, Thea Andrews joined the pop star on the ET set to see if she could guess which lips belong to what celebrity.

Chris Brown Charged with Felonies

R&B singer Chris Brown has been charged with two felony counts in the alleged attack on his girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown, 19, is expected to appear in court today to face one count of assault and one of making criminal threats. The criminal complaint states that in last month's alleged incident, Brown "did willfully and unlawfully commit an assault on ROBYN F. by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury." R&B star Rihanna's real name has been reported as Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

The second count states that Brown "did willfully and unlawfully threaten to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to ROBYN F., with the specific intent that the statement be taken as a threat." The complaint alleges that Rihanna "was reasonably in sustained fear of her safety and the safety of her immediate family."

Michael Jackson Announces Final Performances

Barely audible over scores of screaming fans, Michael Jackson announced his final shows at a press conference this morning in the city's O2 Arena.

After a grand entrance, Jackson said the concert series, called This Is It, will be his last time on stage in London.

"I'll be performing the songs my fans want to hear. This is it. I mean this is really it. This is the final curtain call," he said before offering up some signature moves -- spinning on his heels and thrusting his fists in the air -- before the excited crowd.


Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr To Reunite for NY Concert

Former Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are set to perform together next month for the first time since 2002.

The two performers will headline a concert April 4 at New York City's Radio City Music Hall to benefit the David Lynch Foundation. Other musicians to perform will be Sheryl Crow, Eddie Vedder, Moby and Bettye LaVette.

David Lynch, an Oscar-nominated director, created his foundation to provide funds for transcendental meditation in schools to help students improve their "creativity, intelligence and brain functioning."


Graceland Remembers Elvis Presley's Hollywood Career

It's the 70th anniversary of Graceland and three new exhibits are opening to commemorate Elvis Presley -- including his time as a Hollywood actor.

The new exhibit, Elvis in Hollywood, will highlight his work in 31 films together with his more famous movies 'Love Me Tender' and 'Jailhouse Rock.' The displays follow his progression from a singer to the highest paid actor of his time.

Artifacts of the exhibit include: Elvis' personal copies of 'Love Me Tender' film reels, a Gibson guitar used by Elvis in 'Loving You' and a denim jacket worn by the king in opening scenes of 'Jailhouse Rock.'
