The heartthrob was ambushed by some very eager fans at a London nightclub and pursued across the capital in a high speed chase! The London Paper reports, “It was crazy. There was a car full of of women chasing Leonardo’s car. His driver was desperately trying to shake them off. In the end he managed to lose them.” We’re impressed with their dedication to the cause, but speed-stalking is probably not the best way to seduce a Hollywood bachelor. Brand back to host VMAs again July 14, 2009 at 4:03 pm Jonas Brothers beware — Russell Brand has been hired to host the MTV VMAs for a second-year running. Twelve months after he managed to offend the entire showbiz industry by mocking the tio’s vow of chastity, the British funnyman will bring the show to New York City on September 13th. Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning, Brand revealed the show will be live from the famous Radio City Music Hall and there’ll also be a string of performances at landmarks acrosss the city. And Brand couldn’t let the opportunity pass without mentioning the Jonases, insisting: “I want them to play at my wedding, which, if there’s any justice in the world, will be to one of them. One of the older ones.” Who will be his target this year? Arquette's living in a box July 14, 2009 at 2:30 pm David Arquette is already sweating, just hours into his charity stunt in a plastic box atop New York’s Madison Square Garden - as temperatures soar in the city. The actor is spending two days above the world famous venue to raise awareness and funds for charity Feeding America. He was chosen by the charity and sponsor Snickers because of his work feeding the homeless and hungry in California, and admits he jumped at the chance to help the cause. Arquette invited WENN to join him as he kicked off his challenge and insisted - despite the 85 degree Fahrenheit (29.4 degree Celcius) heat - he was happy to be on show: “It is starting to get a little hot up here - but I had no hesitation saying yes.” He’s confident he won’t be getting bored in a box for two days: “I’m going on Facebook and blogging from here. Just passing the time hanging out. It’s fun.” And he’s even expecting visits from some celebrity pals, including Jennifer Aniston, who’s shooting her new movie The Bounty nearby: “I think some friends are going to call by. Sarah Harding has announced she’s taking a year-long break from the band -  presumably forcing her bandmates to take a break too. Harding says, “It’s not fun when it feels like groundhog year. We’ve been on a treadmill for six years and need a break.” It’s thought she’ll use the time to pursue an acting career. Will they ever return? Liz Taylor back in hospital July 14, 2009 at 12:00 pm Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor has been hospitalised in LA, as she struggles to cope with the death of close friend Michael Jackson.  The 77-year-old was taken to a medical centre from her home in Beverly Hills on Monday, reports the New York Post. The Post’s  report claim Taylor is suffering extreme exhaustion and has been weeping constantly since Jackson’s death last month. Whose offspring? WENN ran into the Scottish actor finishing up a shopping trip in Brentwood, California. He looked pretty slick as he slipped on his helmet, shades and hopped on his parked bike — but little did we know a ‘cool malfunction’ was just around the corner. Our snapper could only watch on in agony as McGregor struggled and struggled to kickstart the bike until he was red in the face. Eventually, just as we thought it couldn’t get any more embarrassing for the star, his machine finally fired up and he rode off into the California sunshine.
