ETonline - Music Tim McGraw Pulls Out of Award Show Performance April 5, 2009 at 7:11 pm Tim McGraw was scheduled to perform at the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards tonight but ET has learned that he will not be taking the stage. McGraw's publicist tells ET that "due to a disagreement with show producers Tim's manager has pulled him from the show." Reba McEntire will host the ACM's -- airing live on CBS tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT -- and others slated to perform include: Miley Cyrus, Lady Antebellum, John Rich, Lee Ann Womack and Jamey Johnson. Madonna Leaves Malawi After Adoption Denied April 5, 2009 at 10:12 am Pop star Madonna has left the African nation of Malawi after a court rejected her bid to adopt a young orphan girl. The singer departed the country on Sunday aboard her private jet, the Associated Press reports. The singer's lawyer has said Madonna will appeal a court ruling that determined she was not eligible to adopt three-year-old Mercy James because she had not lived in Malawi. Madonna first spotted Mercy during a 2006 visit to the orphanage where she found her adopted son David Banda.
