The animated comedy 'Monsters vs. Aliens' dropped to second place with $33.5 million. The film -- about a ragtag group of monsters enlisted by the military to save the world from aliens -- uses the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Kiefer Sutherland, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett and Rainn Wilson.
