Zac Efron Reveals Why He Said No To 'Footloose'
April 3, 2009 at 9:44 am

ET has the latest...

Zac Efron recently made headlines when it was revealed that he would no longer star in the upcoming remake of the classic 'Footloose' and now he's telling why.

"I'm sure 'Footloose' would have been a huge challenge," the 'High School Musical' star tells EW.com. "But the actors that I love and the actors that work really hard in this industry are always shaking things up, trying new genres, acquiring new skill sets. That's what's always going to appeal to me: the unknown."

The big-screen cutie can next be seen in '17 Again,' out April 17.

'The Soloist' Star Robert Downey Jr. Reveals 'Iron Man 2' Secrets!
April 3, 2009 at 8:20 am

Robert Downey Jr. continues his cinematic hot streak as a journalist who befriends a homeless musician, played by Jamie Foxx, in 'The Soloist.' In addition to talking about the impact of the movie, he reveals a few 'Iron Man 2' secrets in the process!

"The film is almost entirely about character, and yet we still have twice as much action as we did last time, so it's going to be nuts," Robert tells our own Thea Andrews of the super sequel, set to start filming Monday. "Essentially 'Iron Man 2' is about looking behind the armor, or the armature, of a superhero. It's one thing to say you're Iron Man, it's another thing to be fully ready to do that."

Robert says he's no longer on his strict 'Sherlock Holmes' diet and has returned to some serious iron to once again portray Tony Stark: "I'm on Beefcake Charlie status," he jokes. "I've got to not be the skinny Brit anymore. I have to be the Tony that you know and may have loved."

Miley spoke to ET about the exciting night, and about the future of the "Hannah Montana" series.

"I'm excited just to be here, I'm kind of spaced out by everything," she says. "I would love to do a season four if that's what Disney has planned, but I'm excited to really get into film."

Chairman of Twentieth Century Fox Comments on 'Wolverine' Leak
April 3, 2009 at 1:26 am

Tom Rothman, chairman of Twentieth Century Fox, is speaking out about the internet leak of the film 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' -- read on for more details.

The unauthorized version of the film that surfaced on the internet is an earlier and outdated copy of the new movie, Entertainment Weekly says on their website.

"The version that went out is unfinished," Rothman tells EW.com. "It's about 10 minutes shorter, doesn't have key scenes, it wasn't edited, and none of the effects shots were in any remotely final form. It's a complete misrepresentation of the film and is deeply unfair to the people who have worked on it for years."
