A jury has reportedly reached a verdict in the case against music producer Phil Spector, who was on trial for the shooting death of actress Lana Clarkson.
Spector, 69, was found guilty of second degree murder by a Los Angeles Superior Court jury. The jury returned the verdict Monday afternoon after deliberating for about 30 hours, the Associated Press reports. Investigators found that Clarkson, 40, died of a gunshot fired in her mouth while visiting Spector's mansion in 2003. The defense had argued that she killed herself. |
