Spinal Tap 25th Anniversary: Unwigged & Unplugged

Spinal Tap is back! For the 25th anniversary of the classic rock mockumentary, comedians/actors/musicians/directors Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer are reuniting for an "Unwigged & Unplugged" tour. Read on for more details…

The musical comedy trio are planning an acoustic 30 city tour in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Rob Reiner-directed film. This will mark the first time that Guest, McKean and Shearer have ever performed unwigged and unplugged.

The hilarious 1984 'This Is Spinal Tap' follows the exploits and history of heavy metal rockers David St. Hubbins, Derek Smalls and Nigel Tufnel as they tour the U.S. to promote their latest release, Smell the Glove. Since the film's successful premiere and subsequent cult status, Guest, McKean and Shearer have performed live and in character over the years at various venues.

'Slumdog Millionaire' Kids Celebrate Oscar Victory

After their triumphant night at the Oscars on Sunday the kids of 'Slumdog Millionaire' -- Ayush Mahesh Khedekar, Tanvi Ganesh Lonkar, Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala Tanay, Hemant Chheda, and Madhur Mittal -- celebrated their victory at "The Happiest Place on Earth!"

The youngest cast members of the Oscar winning film spent Monday morning at Disneyland in Anaheim, CA., hanging out with Disney characters and checking out the popular attractions and rides.

It's been a whirlwind week so far for the young stars, with a visit to Universal Studios Hollywood on Saturday, walking the red carpet at the Academy Awards Sunday and celebrating their victory at the Disney theme park on Monday.


Jonas Brothers Make Surprise Announcement!

The Jonas Brothers may be coming to a theater near you -- literally! With their new movie, 'Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience,' in theaters nationwide this Friday, Kevin, Joe and Nick made a major announcement Monday night.

The trio held a press conference at Million Air in Burbank, CA to announce a partnership with NetJets to surprise fans with unexpected "pop-ins" at numerous 'Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience' showings coast-to-coast this weekend!

"We can't give too many details as to what cities or how many cities we'll be going to," Nick says. "What we can tell you is it will be a coast-to-coast tour and it's really all about our fans, and being able to experience this with them."


'Slumdog' Star's New Project

On the heels of her breakout performance in the Oscar winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire', Freida Pinto has been cast in a film from a well known Hollywood director.

According to Variety, the 24-year-old beauty has signed on to Woody Allen's upcoming untitled project.

Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins, and Josh Brolin will join the Indian-born actress in Allen's new film, the trade paper writes.


Kate Winslet & Penelope Cruz: Before Their Big Wins

ET's Mark Steines and Thea Andrews spoke with Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz on the red carpet before they knew they would be taking home Oscars.

Cruz told ET she was "surprised" that she wasn't nervous at the awards ceremony. "I want to celebrate no matter what happens, winning or losing," Cruz said on the red carpet prior to winning.

Also, Oscar nominees from the film 'Frost/Nixon,' director Ron Howard and actor Frank Langella, express to ET how it feels to be at the 81st Academy Awards.


Kristen Stewart on Robert Pattinson: 'We Feel Very Close'

'Twilight' actress Kristen Stewart says that "every little detail is scrutinized" when she's seen out with her vampire costar Robert Pattinson.

"Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close," Stewart tells Nylon magazine. "It's only natural that we're sort of leaning on each other, because we're put in the most psychotic situations."

As for her off-screen dating life, Kristen, 18, says her boyfriend is "awesome."


Mickey Rourke in Talks for 'Iron Man'

"I'd love to do it," he says. Right now they're in talks for the film. "I love Downey, love [director Jon] Favreau -- let's see what happens."

Stars Reach Out to Mickey Rourke About Dog's Death

Academy Award Best Actor nominee Mickey Rourke opened up to our Thea Andrews and Mark Steines on the red carpet at tonight's Academy Awards about the recent loss of his dog Loki, and he says that many of Hollywood's A-list reached out to him after his pet's passing.

"Loki stayed with me up until six days ago," Mickey told Mark and Thea of the pooch, who lived to be almost 18. "She just fell asleep in my arms. I think we all want to go that way."

Mickey told ET that stars including Bruce Springsteen, Al Pacino, Emma Thompson, Anthony Hopkins and director Jon Favreau have expressed their sympathy following Loki's death.


Heath Ledger Wins Posthumous Oscar

Heath Ledger won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his turn as the Joker in 'The Dark Knight,' and the late star's family gave an emotional acceptance speech on his behalf.

"I have to say this is ever so humbling," Heath's father Kim Ledger said. He thanked Batman director Christopher Nolan for "allowing Heath the creative license to develop and explore this crazy Joker character."

"Heath was such a compassionate and generous soul," mother Sally Bell said. "We have been truly overwhelmed by the honor and respect bestowed upon him with this award."

World Focuses on Hollywood's Biggest Night

The red carpet has been rolled out to showcase the world's biggest stars at the 81st annual Academy Awards ceremony, which this year promises some new surprises!

All eyes are on the rags-to-riches romance 'Slumdog Millionaire,' which has steadily gained momentum for Best Picture after already racking up a host of other awards. Also vying for the top prize: 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,' 'Frost/Nixon,' 'Milk' and 'The Reader.'

In a departure from comedians hosting the Oscars telecast, producers this year tapped actor Hugh Jackman to preside over the broadcast, which has lagged in the ratings in recent years. Jackman is expected to try to dazzle audiences with his acting and musical talents and by involving audience members with him onstage. He'll be Back: Arnold Schwarzenegger's Return to the Big Screen

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says he'll be doing a cameo in a new Sylvester Stallone movie.

Schwarzenegger said on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" that he couldn't turn down the request from Stallone, whom he called "a terrific director, writer, and great actor."

"Since I've become governor I've done three cameos when friends ask me and Sly asked me if I would do a cameo. I said of course I would help you do a cameo, there's no two ways about that." The movie is Stallone's 'The Expendables,' which is set for release in 2010.


Tyler Perry's 'Madea' No. 1 at Box Office

'Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail,' -- starring the multitalented Perry as a pistol-packing granny -- opened in first place at the box office this weekend, bringing in an estimated $41.1 million.

The action/thriller 'Taken,' starring Liam Neeson, finished at No. 2 with $11.4 million, studio estimates showed. Neeson stars as a former CIA agent whose estranged daughter is kidnapped in Paris so he sets out to find her at any cost.

The animated feature 'Coraline' -- starring Dakota Fanning as a young girl who walks through a secret door in her new home to discover an alternate version of her life -- finished in third place with $11 million.


'The Wrestler' Scores at Spirit Awards

Mickey Rourke's comeback movie 'The Wrestler' won top honors at the Spirit Awards on Saturday.

'The Wrestler' picked up the Best Feature award and Rourke won for Best Male Lead at the event, which celebrates the best in independent filmmaking. French camerawoman Maryse Alberti won for Best Cinematography.

During a long expletive-laden acceptance speech, the 56-year-old Rourke thanked director Darren Aronofsky and his costar, Marisa Tomei, whose name he momentarily forgot. He also recalled being arrested by local police 10 years ago and dedicated his award to his beloved Chihuahua Loki, who recently passed away. Aronofsky said backstage it was great that Rourke is getting so much recognition. "I didn't realize how many closet Mickey Rourke fans there were. That's been the biggest surprise of the whole trip."
